Task Force Experts at the American Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene

Task Force for Global Health experts spoke at The American Society for Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (ASTMH) 2023 annual meeting in Chicago from October 18 to 22.

ASTMH is the largest international scientific organization of experts dedicated to reducing the worldwide burden of tropical infectious diseases and improving global health. This year’s theme was From Evidence to Action. Task Force participants included more than a dozen representatives from multiple Task Force programs, such as:

Children Without Worms (CWW), which aims to eliminate soil-transmitted helminths as a public health problem.

Symposium: More Than a Guideline: Using the WHO 2030 NTD Road Map to End the Neglect of Soil-Transmitted Helminths
