How Do Task Force Programs Help Create Sustainable Access to Health for All?

In The Task Force’s efforts to help countries provide effective and accessible services that address their citizens’ health needs, four of our programs — African Health Workforce Project, MedSurplus Alliance, Public Health Informatics Institute, and Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions Network — focus on general health systems strengthening efforts. But as our head of health systems strengthening, Patrick O’Carroll, MD, MPH, says, wherever any of our programs work, we seek to leave behind a stronger health system for the future.
