Sisimpur, produced by Sesame Workshop Bangladesh, is the Bangladeshi adaptation of the American children’s television series Sesame Street. Sisimpur is one of the most popular children’s programs in the country, reaching 86% of child viewers on the state-owned television network in 2010 alone.
The Task Force’s Children Without Worms program collaborated with Sesame Workshop Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on three public service announcements to increase awareness about preventing intestinal worm (soil-transmitted helminth) infections, which can damage the growth and development of children.
