Lynn Heinisch, MA

Chief External Relations Officer

Lynn Heinisch, MA, is the Chief External Relations Officer for The Task Force for Global Health. She oversees organizational communications and development, leading the team responsible for content creation and strategy, organizational channels, partner engagement, media relations, fundraising and internal communications. Ms. Heinisch’s career in global health and development has included roles at PATH and CARE, as well as consulting with organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the CDC Foundation, and the Aspen Institute.

At PATH, Ms. Heinisch served as Director of Public Health Communications and, previously, as Director of Executive and Internal Communications. At CARE, she held a variety of communications leadership roles, including: Communications Officer for Africa, based in Johannesburg; Media Relations Manager in New York; and Director of Executive and Internal Communications. In these roles, she led communications assignments and reported from dozens of countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Ms. Heinisch began her career in journalism, worked for Intel in media relations, and served as a volunteer teacher in Benin. She earned a BA in English at Duke University and an MA in International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
