When Dr. Bill Foege conceived The Task Force in 1984, he envisioned a nimble organization that could bring people together and get them to work effectively to solve large-scale health problems. Over the course of 32 years, this grand experiment in collaboration has led to improvements in health for hundreds of millions of people around the world.
When millions of people are suffering and dying every year of preventable and treatable diseases, something is not right with the world – and something needs to be done about it. This is why we do what we do at The Task Force for Global Health.
