Decatur, GA. (January 10, 2012). The Winter 2012 issue of Global Health Council Magazine, “Save Money and People: Invest in Vaccines”,includes two articles authored by former and current staff. of The Task Force. In the article, "When Words Fail", Dr. Bill Foege, Founder of The Task Force for Global Health, recounts a brief history of immunization. In the article, "Global Immunizations at the Tipping Point", Acting Director for The Task Force's Center for Vaccine Equity, Dr. Alan R. Hinman, and Communications Manager Samantha Kluglein, outline the challenges facing immunization programs in Africa.
