Immunizations and Vaccines: Center for Vaccine Equity
This sector has emerged from the early work of The Task Force. The Task Force was founded to serve as Secretariat for a coalition of several multilateral organizations, achieving tremendous success in promoting immunization and other child survival activities.
In 2011, The Task Force created the Center for Vaccine Equity (CVE) to bring together all of The Task Force vaccine/immunization-related activities and provide a framework and a core for expanding these activities. Current initiatives of this sector focus on reducing the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases with a goal of assuring equitable access to vaccines in all parts of the world.
