Vivian Singletary - Public Health Informatics Institute
Ms. Singletary is a Senior Public Health Informatics Analyst for the Public Health Informatics Institute (the Institute), a program of the Task Force for Global Health. She is responsible for leading projects to develop requirements for public health information systems through utilization of the Institute’s Collaborative Requirements Development Methodology (CRDM)™. This approach helps public health organizations clearly define the ways in which information systems should support their work, based on a thorough understanding of their business processes. Ms. Singletary is currently leading the development of requirements for a Universal Health Care Provider System for developing countries.
Prior to joining the Institute, Ms. Singletary worked as the Supply Chain Manager for another program of the Task Force, the International Trachoma Initiative (ITI), where she was responsible for the forecasting, shipment planning, and inventory management of Zithromax® in 19 countries.
Prior to joining the Task Force for Global Health, Ms. Singletary was the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Development at The Home Depot, where she planned mid- to long-range supply chain strategy and managed supply chain optimization projects, including IT system implementations and process improvement initiatives. She also worked with Masterfoods USA (a division of Mars, Inc.) as Senior Site Logistics Manager. Ms. Singletary holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Kennesaw State. She also holds a certificate in Supply Chain Management from Fisher Business School.
