As the Sr. Program Associate of the Mectizan Donation Program. Jamie Tallant will be responsible for programmatic, communications, and research support.
Prior to joining MDP, Jamie was a consultant for the International Trachoma Initiative and Malaria Consortium-South Sudan on various projects in communications, research, supply chain management, and program implementation. She worked for five years in the office of institutional advancement at The Carter Center in Atlanta, two years as a health promotion consultant for the Center’s South Sudan Guinea Worm Eradication and Trachoma Control Programs, and more recently served as an election observer with the Center for the 2010 elections in Sudan.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Clemson University and is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing.
