Debra Robic - Public Health Informatics Institute
As Director of Communications for the Public Health Informatics Institute, Debra Robic brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of marketing and communications, primarily within the technology industry. Applying the resulting best practices and lessons learned over the course of her career, Ms. Robic will lead the Office of Communications to develop and implement strategic, comprehensive, integrated communications/marketing plans that serve to advance the Instituteメs mission.
Most recently, Ms. Robic served as Director of Marketing for Oversight Systems, a provider of continuous controls monitoring software to Fortune 500 companies and large federal agencies. Prior to joining Oversight, as an independent marketing and communications consultant, Ms. Robic provided strategic marketing, consulting and contract writing services to a variety of technology, service and non-profit companies. Ms. Robic also held senior marketing management positions with First Data Corp., Armstrong Laing Group, XcelleNet and Sterling Software.
Ms. Robic currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Trustees of Atlanta Unity, where she previously served as Communications Director for a $2.1 million capital campaign to fund a relocation and construction project; headed up the Marketing and Communications Committee; and consulted with staff on marketing and events promotion and organizational development.
Ms. Robic was a Liberal Arts major at San Francisco State University, with a focus on Theater Arts.
