As Program Associate for TEPHINET, Daniela Salas assists in the program’s communication and networking efforts. She also serves as the main contact for the program’s activities in Central America. Daniela provides the team with planning and logistical support for TEPHINET’s global and regional conferences and assists the director and associate director in grant development.
Prior to joining the Taskforce, Daniela worked in programs devoted to diabetes education and research at Emory University’s School of Medicine. Her prior experience also includes Program Manager for CIFAL Atlanta, the North American affiliate to the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
Daniela received her BA in Psychology from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2005 and earned her Master's degree in Public Health from Georgia State University in 2007.
