CHILD NEEDS ASSESSMENT TOOL KIT RIGHT CLICK on the link below to Download the Child Needs Assessment Tool Kit Choose "Save Target As" from the menu open the folder where you want the file(s) located or choose "Desktop" to place the file(s) on your desktop. If you are planning on printing the Tool Kit we recommend you download the entire file prior to printing rather than opening it in Acrobat online. Download Entire Tool Kit (approx 1 MB Adobe PDF File) Training Manual A critical part of the Tool Kit is the training manual, written for the person(s) responsible for selecting and training the field-work team, composed of interviewers and their supervisors. Data entry clerk(s) are also included in portions of the training. The manual has 12 modules, each with in-class exercises. CHILD NEEDS ASSESSMENT TOOL KIT SOFTWARE You may download * the software called "Child Needs Assessment" (CNA) that was developed for entering data from the survey and for running a standard analysis program. Please refer to the instructions for installing and using CNA BEFORE downloading the software. See "Appendix IV: CNA Installation, Data Entry and Analysis Instructions," pages IV-1 through IV-3 in the section called "Data Entry and Analysis Software." TO DOWNLOAD, CLICK on the link below and choose a location on your computer to save the file that you can find after downloading is complete. TO INSTALL, double click the downloaded file "CNA.exe". This will open a dialog box asking for a location for installation. ("C:\CNA\" is suggested). You should see the message "76 file(s) unzipped successfully". Choose "OK" and close the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box. TO RUN the program, type "C:\CNA\CNA" from the "Windows Run" dialog box, accessible from the "Start" menu, or from a "command prompt". (CNA is a DOS based application.)
